Women’s Clothing Sizes 00/XXS to 26+/4x:

Every item brought to the sale will be inspected for stains, holes, and excessive wear and tear. Items should come from a smoke free home and anything with even a hint of a smoke, musty, or mildew type of smell will not be accepted.
Consignors are expected to do their own inspection and avoid bringing items that don’t meet the sale’s standards.
Clothing should be in style and current (meaning it should have been purchased within the past 3 years).

There is a limit of 100 clothing items per consignor. This limit is set to encourage consignors to ONLY bring your newest and best. The sale is not designed for you to dig out totes and totes of old clothes that have been in storage for years.
Instead, we want you to focus on your best name brand items, your highest quality items, and things that shoppers will get excited about finding at the sale TODAY.

There is a limit of 10 pairs of jeans per consignors, and only 3 of those are permitted to be skinny jeans. This is in an effort to maintain high sell through. We learned at our first event that people have a LOT of jeans in their closets, but we want to be sure we’re bringing current styles and brands that shoppers want to see. Therefore, unless/until skinny jeans make a bigger comeback, we will have to limit what we accept.

For consignors with high end items from brands like Free People, Anthropologie, Madewell, lululemon, Athleta, Alo, etc., there is an option to enter more than 100 clothing items. If you think this applies to you, email wardroberevivalsale@gmail.com and we can take a look at your inventory. It will be required that your inventory is labeled with the brand on every item.

At the spring event, we will accept seasonally appropriate items for spring and summer. At the fall event, we will accept seasonally appropriate items for fall and winter. This means we will not accept winter coats at the spring sale, and we won’t accept something like a linen sundress at the fall/winter sale. Athletic shorts and tanks will be accepted year-round.

Our sales floor will be organized by category. For example, all dresses will be organized in one section (by size).
Examples of some of the clothing sections we will have: activewear (all sports bras, athletic leggings & tops), fan zone (all high school, college, and professional spirit wear-adult sizes only), tops, bottoms, dresses, coats, formal wear, loungewear, etc.

PREFERRED BRANDS (this is not a fully exhaustive list, because that would be impossible, but it should give you an idea of the kinds of brands we will accept, assuming they are 2 years old or newer and meet our other acceptance standards):

BRANDS NOT ACCEPTED (please do not bring these brands to the sale. We will not accept them and we don’t want you to waste your time tagging them!):

• Amazon brands that are very cheaply made, thin materials, and awkward sizing (iykyk!)
• Most Walmart will not be accepted, including these brands (unless very current & trendy): Free Assembly, Time & Tru, Terra & Sky, Faded Glory, No Boundaries, White Stag, George, Jordache, Sofia, etc.
• Meijer will not be accepted, including these brands (unless very current & trendy): Massini, Frederik’s, Studio M, Lee jeans, etc.
• Kohl’s will not be accepted, including these brands (unless very current & trendy): Sonoma, SO, Croft & Borrow, Apt. 9, Tek Gear, Mudd, etc.
• JC Penney will not be accepted, including these brands (unless very current & trendy): a.n.a, Liz Claiborne, St. Johns Bay, Arizona Jeans,  Worthington, Alfred Dunner, etc.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED (please do not waste your time tagging them!):

• Items from the Brands Not Accepted list above
• Items that are not currently in style 
• Items purchased more than 3 years ago
• Items with excessive wear including pilling, holes, stains, fading, or stretched or stiffened material from age/wear
• Items with missing buttons, broken or malfunctioning zippers
• Items with pet hair or lint
• Items with smoke, pet, or musty smells
• Socks unless new with tags/in package
• Bras unless new with or without tags (sports bras are fine)
• Underwear unless name brand (lululemon, VS, etc.) and with tags attached
• Wedding gowns
• Kids clothing or shoes

Shoes

Shoes must be in excellent condition and current styles.
We will inspect three main areas of shoes: toes, footbeds, and soles.
If the toes are scuffed, scratched, pulling from the base, or too worn, shoes will not be accepted.
If the footbeds are excessively dirty, shoes will not be accepted.
If the soles are worn thin, uneven, or peeling, shoes will not be accepted.
Name brand shoes will sell best.
We will accept seasonally appropriate shoes at the respective season’s sale. For example, we will not accept winter boots at the spring sale and we will not accept open toed sandals at the fall sale.

Bags, Purses, & Accessories

There is a limit of 25 pieces of jewelry per consignor. Bring your best!
There is a limit of 10 scarves per consignor. This includes fashion and winter scarves.
There is no limit on purses, bags, wallets, but they do need to adhere to our acceptance standards.
All items must be in excellent condition, on trend, and current styles.
All items must be designed for adults. Children’s items are not accepted.

BEAUTY

We will accept makeup, hair care, or personal care products as long as they are new in package.
Current, name brand, popular fragrances are accepted but must be nearly new and the customer must have a way of smelling the fragrance.

HOME DECOR & MISCELLANEOUS

When the inventory meets the highest of standards, this is a VERY popular section and customers absolutely love shopping your best, trendiest, and most versatile decor, especially at a great discount!

There is a limit of 20 home decor pieces.
All items should be in excellent condition and current in terms of design and style.

Recommended items include wall art, table art, wreaths, mantle displays, decorative mirrors, like new rugs, small accent pieces like side tables or accent chairs, furniture, statement pieces, and current & on trend seasonal decor (purchased in the last 3 years), etc. Seasonal decor should align with the season in which the sale is being held.

We will accept on trend, like new water bottles from the following brands: Corkcicle, Hydro Flask, Owala, Stanley, Starbucks, Swig, and Yeti. These count toward your 20 item maximum and should be listed as Home Decor in the inventory system.

We will accept cute, good quality mugs and glasses such as Anthropologie mugs or icon glasses. These count toward your 20 item maximum and should be listed as Home Decor in the inventory system.

We will accept never used candles as long as they are name brand and not dusty, dated, or old. These count toward your 20 item maximum and should be listed as Home Decor in the inventory system.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

• Glass items such as bowls, vases, and candle holders
• Picture frames
• Unframed mirrors
• Dated items (Example: Live, Laugh, Love signs)
• Kitchen items such as small electronics, coffee makers, toasters, glasses, plates, bowls, serving dishes, or silverware, unless new in the box and appropriate to add to the giftable category.

While Wardrobe Revival is geared towards women, we recognize that it is a great opportunity for both shoppers and consignors to buy and sell high demand men’s clothing and shoes, too! We do not anticipate many men shopping at the sale, but if you have popular brands and styles of men’s items from the teens or men in your life, we welcome them! Keep in mind that buyers will be the moms and wives of the family, so you’ll want to stick to the brands and styles that they’ll happily pick up for the men in their lives.

Brands should include those along the lines of alo, Lululemon, Vuori, popular golf brands, Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Vineyard Vines, Banana Republic, etc. We also anticipate team branded items such as Purdue, Colts, and local schools, will be popular in this section, so bring those as well! This is not an exhaustive list, but should give you an idea of what types of brands you can bring.

There is a limit of 25 pieces of men’s clothing and 25 pairs of men’s shoes.
All items should be in excellent condition and current in terms of design and style.
